    Species Description - Plants ca. 1 mm wide, light green to brownish green, loosely creeping, irregularly branched. Leaf lobes ovate-falcate, with numer¬ous ocelli, margins irregularly crenulate-denticulate, apex apiculate, usually incurved. Cells in midlobe 25-35 µm, walls evenly thickened or with small trigones, cuticle smooth; ocelli dispersed. Lobules ovate, 1/5-1/3 of leaf length, inflated, not reduced, free margin in¬curved, apical tooth long, falcate. Underleaves distant to contiguous, orbicular to slightly wider than long, 2-5 times stem width, bifid to 1/3 of length, ocelli present, margins crenulate, bases rounded, in-sertion line straight. Dioicous. Perianths keels conspicuously swollen above, forming low horns.
