Description
Species Description - Plants 0.2-0.4 mm wide. Leaf lobes suberect to obliquely spreading, ± falcate, ovate-lanceolate, dorsal leaf margin hardly dilated beyond leaf base, lobes 2.5-3.5 times longer than wide, rather flat, apex acute-acuminate, margins entire. Cells in midlobe subquadrate, ca. 20 x 15 µm. trigones small, intermediate thickenings lacking; ocelli single or 2 in a broken row in lower 1/2 of lobe or lacking. Lobules 1/3—1/2 of leaf length, sometimes reduced, inflated in lower 1/2, flattened above, apical tooth long, preapical tooth large, usually crossing with apical tooth. Underleaf lobes 2-4 cells long, 1-2 cells wide at base, obliquely diverging. Dioicous or autoicous. Perianth keels toothed.
