Description
Species Description - Plants to 0.6 mm wide with leaves, pale green. Branches without collar. Ventral merophyte 1 cell wide. Leaves dimorphic. Fully developed leaves 350-400 pm long and 60-100 µm wide, 4-6 times longer than wide, lanceolate with sharply pointed, acuminate apex ending in a row of 2-3 cells, margin crenulate to dentate due to conically mammillose cells, surface smooth or ± papillose, hyaline border and ocelli lacking. Lobe and lobule cells 10-15 x 15-20 µm, thin-walled, without trigones or intermediate thickenings. Lobules covering 1/3-1/2 of lobe, inflated, keel slightly curved, often dentate due to conically mammillose cells, first tooth 1-2 cells long, acute, incurved, sickle-like, second tooth obsolete. Reduced leaves frequent, ovate-lanceolate, 3/4-2/3 the length of well-developed leaves, 3-5 cells wide, elobulate or with lobule reduced to a narrow strip. Autoicous. Perianths obovate, terete, covered by conical mammillae in its upper 1/2.
