Description
Species Description - Plants 0.7-1.3 mm wide, greenish brown, frequently branched, creeping. Leaf lobes ovate-suborbicular, subsymmetrical, margins entire, apex rounded, plane. Cells in midlobe 20-30 µm; oil bodies unknown; ocelli 1-2(4) at leaf bases, not forming a row. Lobules small, 0.2-0.3 of leaf length, ovoid; utricles rare, when present, 1 per branch base. Underleaves bifid to 1/2 of length, distant to subimbricate, orbicular, 3-5 times stem width, margins entire, bases with broad, low auricles. Autoicous. Perianths with 5 low, rounded, mammillose keels, horns lacking.
