  • Description

    Description - Plants ca. 1 cm long, glossy, pale green to brown, prostrate, with palmate branches on both sides of axis or sometimes confined tol side. Main axis thick, biconvex, 8-15 cells high in cross section, without wing, lower part giving rise to short, plump, root-like shoots. Branches very flat, 0.4-0.6 mm wide, tongue-shaped with cordate tips, broadly winged, the wings 3-6 cells wide, the cells rather equal in size, arranged in oblique rows, those wavy to margin. Autoicous. Gemmae lacking.
