Description
Species Description - Plants small, 0.1-1 cm tall, yellowish green, in lax to dense tufts. Leaves erect-spreading to slightly curved when dry, oblanceolate from a scarcely or not enlarged base, 2-4 x 0.3-0.5 mm; margins entire to serrulate above, delicately ciliate at the shoulders, limbate by 1-3 rows of elongate, hyaline cells, ending well below leaf apex; costa subpercurrent; cells subquadrate to short-rectangular, 9-12 x 7-9 µm, smooth, mammillose, or stellate-unipapillose abaxially, bulging adaxially; cancellinae hyaline, almost filling the leaf base, meeting the costa in acute angles. Asexual reproduction by gemmae; gemmiferous leaves scarcely differentiated; gemmae uncommon, along adaxial surface of leaf apices. Setae 3-4 mm long; capsules 0.5-1 mm long.
