Discussion
Acrodiclidium brasiliense Nees, Syst. Laurin. 267. 1936; Kostermans, Rec. Trav. Bot. Neerl. 33: 746. 1936; Meded. Bot. Mus. Utrecht. 37: 746. 1936.
The species is similar to L. martiniana (Mez) Kostermans but the elliptic leaves and the hemispheric, urceolate flowers, always constricted below the tepals, separate L. brasiliensis from L. martiana.
-
Distribution
The species occurs throughout the Amazon Basin.
