Along the Potaro River and "Coast Region," Jenman 821, 1520 (fide Cogn.); Barabara Creek, 14 miles on Bartica-Potaro Road, epiphyte on upper branches of a wallaba and common on other trees, B. Maguire & D. B. Fanshawe 817; Kaieteur Plateau, occasional epiphyte, flowers mauve-pink, May 2, 1944, B. Maguire & D. B. Fanshawe 23162; Mazaruni River, at the first falls, epiphyte, flowers pink, August 18, 1937, O. W. Richards (N. Y. Sandwith 1170). VENEZUELA. Bolivar: Rio Carrao, Uaiparú, G. C. K. Dunsterville 151; Rio Churún, in "Drago" Camp, Pannier ir Schwabe 1772. BRAZIL. The type was from British Guiana.
