Distribution and Ecology - VENEZUELA. Bolivar: north side of La Frontera (east of Cerro Bolivar) on lower slopes, 250 m alt., occasional on large rocks, "Tepals deep purple-brown; lip rich pink, apically white," March 1, 1953, J. J. Wurdack 34457. COLOMBIA. The type of Schomburgkia undulata was from VENEZUELA.
