    Species Description - Peduncles (of either sex) up to 4-4.5 cm long; flower [male]: sepals up to 8-9.5 mm long, 4.5-5.5 mm wide; petals obtusely deltate, carnose, up to 2-2.5 mm long, 1.6-2 mm wide, the free margin ± 0.8 mm long, at least thinly fleshy (not membranous); filaments broadly linear, dorsoventrally flattened, the anther-sacs up to 0.8-1.5 mm long; inflorescence [female]: pedicels at anthesis 5-6 mm long, the fertile ones becoming in fruit 10-14 mm long; flower [female] as [male] but smaller, the sepals to 4-4.5 mm long, 1.8-2.5 mm wide, the petals up to 1.5-1.7 mm long, 0.8-1.3 mm wide; drupe (immature) less than 1 cm long, the endocarp apparently 8-ribbed (as in sect. Meximenium), not winged.
