    Latin Diagnosis - Folia opposita vel nonnumquam 4-verticillata oblanceolato-oblonga vel elliptico-oblonga an subovato-elliptica, apice acutis vel subobtuse acutis an acuminatis basi acutis vel acuminatis 9-27 cm longis 2-8.5 cm latis glabris, nervis lateralibus utroque latere 8-12; pedunculo 5-15 cm longo in anthesi non alato in fructu bialata, marginibus anguste alatis; inflorescentia primum trichotoma ramis 15-21 mm longis in fructu ad 40-60 mm elongatis; corollae lobis valvatis quinque; calyce ore irregulariter 5-lobato, lobis suborbiculari-ovatis vel subdeltoideis subobtusis, inter lobos glandulis solitariis vel aliquot tenuibus interpositis; staminibus quinque; ovario tenuiter vel vix 2-loculare, loculis uniovulatis, ovulis ex basi nascentibus, dissepimento tenui; fructu subgloboso 8 mm longo 7.5 mm lato glabro dipyreneo; pyrenis subglobosis 6 mm longis 6 mm latis, facie convexa laevi straminea ecostata, facie ventrali plana fissura longitudinali munita.
