Description
Genus Description - Petaligerous, imbricate with extrastaminal discs; sepals more or less united at base; flowers 3M merous; fruit borne on pedicels 3 cm long, thickened upward. Known only from the Hylaea and British Guiana. The concept of Dodecastigma has been greatly clarified by the thorough study of Sandwith (Kew Bull 1950: 134.1951).
