Description
Species Description - Rhizomes ascending, usually free from their substrate for most of their length, ca 1 cm thick. 10 cm long, densely covered with soft, brown to reddish-brown hairs; fronds simple, 2-40 cm long; laminae reniform (broadly oblanceolate to deltoid in the smallest specimens), 1-10 em long, 1-11 em wide, glabrous, the margins usually entire, sometimes crenulate in the smaller specimens, plane or slightly incurved; sori in a submarginal band 2-20 mm wide and 1-5 mm from tlie margins; paraphyses multicellular, short, stiflf, iwldish-brown. the glandular terminal cell swollen; wax yellow, orange, or absent.
