Description
Species Description - (low-growing epiphyte with pendant branches 1-3 m. long; leaves dull above, shining beneath; pedicels coral-red; corolla deep crimson).

Discussion
The species is known from several Ecuadorian collections and possibly extends northward into Colombia.

Canar: Near El Corazon, between S. Vicente and Rosario, 3,500 ft. elev., F. Prieto CP-12.
