Description
Species Description - Spore morphology: Size: 9-13 µm in diameter, mean 11 µm. Color: yellowish. Shape: spherical or rarely ovoid. Sculpture: gemmate, the gemmae irregularly distributed and anastomosing (Figs. 13, 16, 17) or more regularly distributed (Fig. 15), sometimes with bare regions (Fig. 14) and more discrete elements (Fig. 18), 0.2-0.6 µm in diameter, 0.1-0.3 µm in height, covered with large conic to rounded papillae (Figs. 16, 17), the spore surface between the gemmae often with randomly scattered granules.
