    Species Description - Herbs, 12-30 cm high. Stems white. Inflorescences 4-11 cm long, the upper 15-30 flowers staminate, the lower 3-9 pistillate; pedicels 2-3 mm long. Flowers white, 2-5 mm diam.; tepals not bearded. Achenes obovoid, ca. 1.5 mm long.

    Distribution and Ecology - Fl (May, Sep); fr (May, Sep); found in nonflooded forest 200 to 400 m on La Fumee Mountain trail
