    Species Description - Stoloniferous, colonial plants of indefinite duration; erect portions of culms 25-40 cm tall. Leaves with blade 8-15 X 0.5-1 cm. Inflorescences a pair of divergent, conjugate racemes 7-10 cm long. Spikelets 1.2-1.8 mm long, lenticular, orbicular to ovate, pale yellow, acute to apiculate, the margins fringed with long silky hairs.
