    Species Description - Saprophytes with slender, flexuous, leafless stems, these to 50 cm long, usually shorter, covered by fine hairs. Roots fusiform, fascicled or verticillate. Inflorescence a few- to many-flowered terminal raceme. Flowers minute, white; sepals and petals connivent; sepals concave, short-pubescent externally, to ca. 2 mm long, the lateral sepals extended into oblong saccate spur to 2 mm long; petals spathulate-oblong, subequal to or wider than dorsal sepal; lip obovate, rounded, apiculate, concave, as long as lateral sepals. Fl (Sep, Nov), fr (Sep, Nov).
