Species Description - Epiphytes with clustered, ridged, ovoid pseudobulbs, these to 3.5 cm long, partially concealed by long-persistent bracts. Leaves solitary, lanceolate-elliptic, acute, plicate, petiolate, to 25 X 10 cm. Inflorescences few-flowered, pendent racemes. Flowers pendent, white, soft-textured; dorsal sepal lanceolate, acute, 7 X 2.5—4.0 cm, the lateral sepals lanceolate-ovate, acute, connate at base, 7 X 3.2-4.0 cm; petals lanceolate, acute, with strongly recurved margins, 7 X 2.3 cm; lip complex, fleshy, to 7 cm long, the hypochile saccate, marked with red-brown lines outside, pubescent and orange-brown inside, with paired narrow horns basally, the epichile triangular, acute, convex; column to 7.5 cm long, broadly winged apically.
