    Species Description - Erect epiphytes. Pseudobulbs oblong-elliptic, compressed, 2-3.5 X 1-1.6 cm, concealed by conduplicate, imbricate bases of 4-7, conspicuous, foliaceous bracts. Leaves coriaceous, linear-ligulate to elliptic-oblong, subacute or unequally emarginate, 7-24 X 1-3.5 cm. Inflorescences 1-6, arching, secund racemes, 15-38 cm long. Flowers many, pink to rose-red; sepals dissimilar, 9-12 X 5-6 mm, the dorsal sepal ovate, obtuse or subacute, concave, the lateral sepals connate for entire length, the resulting structure gibbose in profile, 10- 15 mm long; petals obovate, acute or apiculate, 9-12 X 6-7 mm; lip entire, oblong-obovate, deeply emarginate, with undulate margins, 12-15 X 5-7 mm, the callus bicarinate; column subcylindric, with 2 short teeth on underside.
