    Species Description - Slender, erect, herbs to 1.5 m. Leaves sparse, lanceolate, upper leaf axils, large, showy, pink; sepals subsimilar, lanceolate, acute, 5-6.5 X 0.6-1.1 cm; petals elliptic to ellipticoval, acuminate, 5.5-6.5 cm X 1-1.6 cm; lip broadly oblanceolate to narrowly obovate, obtuse, lacerate toward apex, lamellate along median line, with two stipitate processes at obtuse to acute, 3-12 X 0.8-2.5 cm. Flowers 1 or 2 from base, 4.5-5.5 X 1.6-3 cm. Fl (immature Jan).
