    Species Description - Plants terrestrial. Rhizomes short-creeping to suberect. Fronds monomorphic, 75-125 cm long; petiole equal in length to blade; blade with 4-10 pairs of pinnae and one nearly identical terminal pinna; pinnae 15-25 X 3-6 cm, incised for VA-VI width, with 2-3 pairs of veins united at sinus, with stellate hairs on both surfaces and on axes.

    Distribution and Ecology - Indusium present. In understory of lowland forest.
