Description
Genus Description - Plants terrestrial or epilithic. Rhizomes short-creeping or erect, covered with scales. Fronds clustered, not articulate at rhizome, monomorphic or subdimorphic, 1-3-pinnate; petiole generally black, rigid, shiny; blade oblong to pentagonal, covered on abaxial surface with white or yellow powder; veins free. Sori along veins, poorly defined; indusia absent.
