Description
Species Description - Rhizomes short-creeping, covered at apex with brown, triangular scales 1-2 mm long. Fronds 4 or 5, bipinnate; petiole black, 9-15 cm long, with caducous, brown pubescence; pinnae 3-6 on each side of rachis, elliptic, 5-9 X 2 cm, the scales of the rachis similar to but less dense than those of the petiole; pinnules 10-15 on each side, subquadrangular, 10-20 X 3-6 mm, the margins of sterile pinnules dentate. Sori 10-12, arched, along margin.
Distribution and Ecology - Uncommon, along creeks in forest.
