    Genus Description - Plants terrestrial or epiphytic. Rhizomes long- or short-creeping, covered with scales and well-developed network of roots. Fronds monomorphic; blade entire, glabrous or with scales; veins reticulate, with included free veinlets. Sori round or oblong, usually in 1 row between secondary veins, with multiple veins leading to each sorus; indusia absent, paraphyses present or absent.
