    Species Description - Rhizomes long-creeping, covered with pale-brown scales 4 mm long. Fronds monomorphic; petiole 5-10 mm long, with same scales as rhizome; blade elliptic, acuminate, 8-16 X 2.5-3.5 cm, with some scales on midrib; veins reticulate, the areoles with or without included veinlet. Sori linear, oblique. Rather common, in lowland forest.
