    Species Description - Rhizomes long-creeping or pendent, green to blackish, covered by acuminate, brown, pale-margined, appressed scales 2-3.5 mm long. Fronds separate, glabrous, 20-75 cm long; petiole 3-15 cm long, covered by caducous scales; blade linear to lanceolate, 15-60 X 3-9 cm, decurrent at base, acuminate at apex, the margins entire or sinuate; secondary veins oblique, parallel, joined by arched veinlets, with 2 free veinlets. Sori small, in 2 series between secondary veins.

    Distribution and Ecology - Rather common, in lowland forest.
