    Species Description - Rhizomes very long-creeping, with scales entirely brownblack and 4-5 mm long. Fronds with petiole of length varying with size of blade, 2-25 cm long, yellow-straw-colored; blade elliptic to lanceolate, acute to acuminate at base and apex; midrib pale-brown with scales identical to those of rhizome, the lateral veins prominent, 4-7 mm apart, the areoles with 2 fertile veinlets. Sori 1-1.5 mm diam.

    Distribution and Ecology - Rather common, in lowland forest.
