Description
Species Description - Rhizomes thick, obliquely oriented to ground. Fronds dark green; petiole greenish-brown, with 1-4 swollen nodes and numerous small, brown scales. Sterile fronds oblong to subovate, 20-35 X 15-30 cm; pinnae in 2-6 pairs, oblanceolate to elliptic, acuminate at apex, entire, the single terminal pinna similar to lateral pinnae, the veins 1-branched at base, covered with fimbriate scales. Fertile fronds slightly shorter than sterile fronds.
Distribution and Ecology - Rare, in lowland forest.
