    Species Description - Plants terrestrial. Rhizomes short-creeping or ascending. Fronds dimorphic. Sterile fronds pinnate; petiole 3-6 cm long, subtrigonous in transverse section, brown, winged at apex, the juvenile petioles pubescent; blade ovate or oblong, 8-20 X 4-12 cm, the lateral pinnae imbricate, 8-15 on each side, dentate. Fertile fronds simple; petiole 4-12 cm long; blade linear, 20-50 X 1.5-3 cm.; veins simple or furcate, parallel, with false veins at right angles to true veins. Involucres not immersed, conical, slightly winged, the lips short.
