    Genus Description - Plants epiphytic, small. Rhizomes ascending or erect, covered with scales at apex. Fronds clumped, simple, linear, or sometimes divided; the margins entire or dentate; veins free. Sori linear, inserted in row along midrib. The genus is considered by some authors to be a synonym of Grammitis.
