    Species Description - Fronds pinnate (when young) or bipinnate, then with terminal pinnule different from others; petiole pale brown, 17— 50 cm long; blade 6-52 X 2.5-15 cm, usually with 3 or 4 pairs of alternate or subopposite pinnae; pinnae lanceolate, 10-32 X 1—5 cm, the terminal one not reduced; pinnules in 7-25 pairs in pinnate fronds and 12-35 pairs in bipinnate fronds, alternate or opposite, trapezoidal, 11—37 X 6-14 mm, the upper ones not reduced, the terminal one free, lanceolate, asymmetric, 27—70 X 10-15 mm. Sori continuous. Very common, in forest understory.
