Description
Species Description - Plants epiphytic or epilithic. Rhizomes erect, with linear, brown-black scales 3-4 mm long. Fronds bipinnate, in clusters, 20-40 cm long; petiole brown to black, shining, not winged, with filiform scales; blade lanceolate, attenuate, the rachis black, with flagelliform apex terminating in a foliar bud; pinnae 15-30 on each side, subsessile, the largest 5 X 1 cm; pinnules in 4-10 obovate pairs, entire or bilobed; veins simple in each segment. Sori 1 or 2 per pinnule. Forest understory above 400 m altitude.
