Distribution
Known only from a single, sterile collection (A4703) from Bordeaux Mountain, in humid remnant forest. The vegetative characters of this specimen agree with those of Purnus pleuradenia. See Howard (1988) for a discussion of the correct name of this species, which he considered as endemic to the Lesser Anitlles.
