Description
Species Description - General Distribution. Greater and Lesser Antilles. Distribution in Puerto Rico. Of wide occurrence; recorded from Aguas Buenas, Aibonito, Bayamon, Cayey, Florida, Loiza, Maricao, Naguabo, Orocovis, Quebradillas, Rio Grande, San Juan, and Vega Baja. Virgin Islands. St. Thomas, St. John, and Tortola. Habitat. Clearings, shaded banks and hillsides, borders of thickets and swamps, and along rocky stream beds, at low to high elevations (sea-level-1078 m), common.
