Description
Species Description - Similar to Asplenium radicans except: rhizome scales 4-5 mm long, (0.8-) 1-1.5 mm wide, clathrate with yellow or brown lumina, sparse, short teeth; blade 3-pinnate, basal acroscopic pinnules cut to apex into linear-oblong to obovate segments, 4 mm long, 1 mm wide; sori on ultimate segments; indusia 2-4 mm long, fimbriate, erose to suberose.

Discussion
Asplenium radicans Linnaeus var. uniseriale (Raddi) L. D. Gómez, Brenesia 8: 53. 1976. Type. Brazil. Raddi s.n. (presumably FI). Asplenium amabile Liebmann, Mexic. bregn. 251 (seors. 99). 1849. Lectotype (chosen by A. R. Smith, 1981: 54). Mexico. Oaxaca: Between La Galera and Pochutla, Liebmann [Fl. Mex. 352] (C!; isotypes B!, K!). This fully tripinnate member of the Asplenium radicans complex is variable as to whether the indusia are fimbriate or suberose, and whether the rhizome scales are narrow (0.8 mm) or broad (1-1.5 mm). Terrestrial in wet montane forest; Choapan, Ixtlán, Juchitán, Pochutla, Tehuantepec, Tuxtepec, Villa Alta; 200-1250 (-2500) m. Mexico (Ver, Oax, Chis); Hisp; Braz.
