Description
Description - Plant stemless, flowering 7 dm high. Leaves very many, strongly secund-curved, 20 cm long; sheaths broadly ovate but scarcely distinct, 4 cm long; blades narrowly triangular, ca 15 mm wide, involute, coriaceous, very densely nerved, green, glabrous, obscurely denticulate at base, entire elsewhere. Scape erect, slender, flexuous; scape-bracts linear, shorter than the highest internodes. Inflorescence laxly bipinnate, narrow; axis geniculate; primary bracts linear; racemes divergent, 4 cm long, long stipitate, densely polystichous-flowered. Floral bracts apparently elliptic, exceeding the stout 3 mm pedicels. Sepals broadly elliptic, 5.5 mm long, broadly convex, entire. Capsule ovoid, long-beaked; seeds bicaudate.
