Description
Distribution and Ecology - General Distribution. Greater Antilles, andcontinental tropical America from Guatemala sporadically to Peru and Bolivia.Distribution in Puerto Rico. Known from rather widely scattered localities; recorded from Aguas Buenas, Guaynabo, Naguabo, Peiiuelas, and Rio Grande.Habitat. O n deeply shaded bases of tree-trunks, and on sides of mossy boulders and ledges at low to middle elevations (65-570 m), uncommon, perhaps sometimes mistaken in the field for T. lineolatum (q.v.).
