Description
Species Description - Rhizome wide-creeping, wiry, 0.3-0.5 mm in diam. Fronds erect, 6-18(-25) cm long; stipes 3- 9 cm long, broadly winged toward distal end, bearing stellate hairs with inflated stalks. Blades ovate to ovate-lanceolate, 7.5-20 cm long, 4-10 cm broad, acuminate at apex; rhachis broadly winged, bearing 3- to 5-rayed stellate hairs; pinnae 9-14 pairs, adnate at base, deeply 2-pinnatifid; ultimate segments 1-1.5 mm broad, the marginal hairs simple or forked at base, Sori confined to apical half of blade; soral valves ovate to oblong, 1,2-1.4 mm long and ca. 0.8 mm wide, somewhat acute at apex, entire or denticulate, naked or sparingly ciliate with short, simple hair.
