Description
Species Description - Rhizome creeping, densely beset with dark brown, glistening, obscurely articulate hairs 1-3 mm long. Fronds closely distichous; sterile fronds spreading or ascending; blades oblong to oblongdeltate, obtuse, 6-20 cm long, 3-12 cm broad, 2-pinnate at base; pinnae spreading, close, unequally deltate-oblong to rounded-deltate, with 1 to 3 pairs of suborbicular, subsessile segments, the terminal ones obtuse; middle pinnae similar or only deeply lobed, or with a free distal basal segment; margins strongly cartilaginous, subentire or lightly sinuate-dentate, subrevolute; leaftissue rigidly coriaceous, lustrous, minutely glandular, sparsely long-hirsute abaxially, the hairs antrorsely curved. Fertile fronds erect, slender, 10-28 cm long; blades linear-oblong, very much shorter than the stipe; pinnae distant, shortstalked, the lowermost 1-3.5 cm long; pinnules subflabellate, glandular-pilose.
