    Species Description - Villous, procumbent annual; leaflets 1-5, the terminal largest, obovate, 1-2.5 cm, ca. 1.5-2 r, the lateral reduced; flowers 1-6, 1.5-2 cm in axillary subsessile clusters; calyx urceolate, much inflating in fruit; teeth subequal, much < tube; corolla yellowish, often red-streaked; legume 2-seeded. Mediterranean.
