Betiniphyllum. is a genus of shrubs or small trees confined to the northern part of South America, where it is distributed in the Guianas, Brazil, southern Venezuela, and Amazonian eastern Colombia and Peru. In most of the species a resinous exudate covers the young shoots and portions of the inflorescence.
