    Species Description - Trees with odd-pinnate leaves. Leaflets alternate, punctate, estipellate. Stipules abortive. Flowers small and drab, in axillary or clustered terminal racemes. Bracts tiny, leathery, inconspicuous; bracteoles none. Calyx broadly campanulate with subequal, reduced, valvate lobes. Corolla subpapilionaceous; standard broad; wing and keel petals asymmetric, little differentiated, free. Stamens free; equal filaments short, anthers large, dorsifixed. Pistil stipitate, samaroid, winged, usually 1-seeded, indehiscent, persistent.
