Description
Species Description - Small, glabrate shrub or tree with branches spreading in one plane. Leaves simple, rounded, 1.5-2.5 cm, .7-.8 r, cleft 3/4 or torn to base and bifoliolate, glaucous. Flowers fragrant in short, intercalary racemes. Pedicels 1-2 mm; hypanthium 1-2 mm; calyx spathiform in bud, obovate or oblanceolate, subporrect, 6-8 mm; petals white to ochroleucous, oblanceolate, 10-14 mm; stamens 10, filaments proximally pubescent; ovary glabrous. Legume persistent, indehiscent, stipitate, oblong, curved to circinate; valves black, flat but expressed over seeds, to 8 cm long, 1.3 cm wide.
