Discussion
Senegalia roemeriana (Scheele) Britt. & Rose S. malacophylla (Benth.) Britt. & Rose S. palmeri (S. Wats.) Britt. & Rose The taxonomy of A. roemeriana is discussed by Isely (1969). I suspect the two southeastern Texas records to represent introductions. The apparent Texas-New Mexico disjunction (Map 9) is unexplained.
