    Species Description - Completion of the description: Staminate inflorescences up to 5 together in the leaf axils; peduncle 0.5-0.8 cm long; involucral bracts in 4-5 series, ovate, obtuse, the outer ones pale yellow appressed-puberulous, the inner ones only ciliolate; perianth ca. 1 mm long; tepals 4-5, cucullate, thickened at the apex, ciliolate; stamens 3-5; filaments ca. 0.5 mm long; anthers elliptic, 0.8-1 × 0.7-0.8 mm. Distribution. In the southwestern part of the Amazon Basin, in Rondonia and Acre; in non-inundated forest; apparently a rare species.
