Description
Latin Diagnosis - Chamaecrista desvauxii (Colladon) Killip, Brittonia 3(2): 165. 1939, sensu hie magnopere ampliato.
Distribution and Ecology - Habit and fls of sect. Xerocalyx, but relatively large-lvd, either the petiole (including pulvinus) 3.5+ mm or the distal lfts of larger lvs 15+ mm, or both. North and South American (Mexico to Argentina, lacking in West Indies.)
