Description
Subspecies Description - Prickles variable in strength and number, the longest l-4(-6) mm, when small and few easily overlooked and sometimes almost concealed by vesture; lfts of lvs at mid-stem commonly 35-70-jug. per pinna, rarely 24-40- or to 105-jug., the blades usually greenish and finely strigose beneath or on both faces, seldom silky-pilose; valves of pod either glabrous, or finely puberulent, or retrosetulose, the setae of replum (l-)2.5-4.5 mm.
