    Entered Jan 2016. Herbarium of the Kurdistan Botanical Foundation is one of the fastest growing herbaria in SW Asia. Intensive fieldwork is carried continuously for at least eight months annually, and plans are underway to survey other important mountains in Kurdistan Iraq such as Qandil, Algurd, and others. We welcome botanical exchanges with herbaria of neighboring countries, especially from Kurdistan Iran and Turkey.
