    Created Aug 2009. Previously the flora of Montenegro was mainly investigated by foreign botanists (Italian, Dalmatian, German, Austrian, Czech, Serbian, Slovenian, etc.), so all collected material was deposited in their herbarium collections, the most important one being Rohlena's collection in Prague (PR). The TGU collection is accompanied by rich photo documentation and botanical library that includes almost all publications about the flora and vegetation of Montenegro, as well as significant number of publications about flora and vegetation of Balkan Peninsula and SE Europe.
